Elly is one of the resident artists at Unity Art Studio. Her first solo exhibition, 52! opens from the 6th July 2024 at Unity Art Studio and features a series of paintings created as part of her Art2Life scholarship.
'I joined the unity Art studio in 2022, it took me two months to have the courage to ask for a space. Since then it has become my second home. I have been trying to make the change from textiles to paint with a view to in the future mixing in the textiles again. I have completed a number of courses in acrylics, watercolours and oil paints.'
